My first steps as a dentist
Hello everyone! My name is Arlet Lopez Neyra.
I am a Cuban, who like others, dreamed about giving a better future to my family. I am dentist, graduated in 1995 with a specialty in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. I had to take the hard decision of living my loved ones behind to pursue my dreams. I first migrated to Venezuela, and then to Colombia to work as a general dentist; until I finally got to this country of freedom.
After arriving here
It was not that easy at the beginning. I had to struggle through multiple jobs to get to work as a dental assistant. Here, a miracle came into my life: my bride-to-be. I met my wife Yailen Alvarado as a young, newly graduated dentist with the dream of having her own dental office.

Hello, my name is Dr. Yailen Alvarado, and I would like to take a moment to introduce myself. I am a dentist who is passionate about providing the best possible care to my patients. Originally from Cuba, I earned my Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Rutgers School of Dentistry in New Jersey in 2016.
As an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Florida Dental Association (FDA), I am committed to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry. My focus is on providing my patients with the most advanced and effective treatments available, particularly in the area of Orthodontics clear aligners.
I take great pride in helping my patients achieve healthy and beautiful smiles. Beyond my work as a dentist, I also have a passion for cooking and enjoy exploring new recipes in my spare time.
I am honored to be a part of the dental community and I look forward to continuing to provide my patients with the highest level of care possible. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about me.
